3D Point Cloud Imaging
Photogrammetry is an A.I. process of creating 3D models using only photographs. A series of 100 to 1,000 images is taken from all angles around a subject. With the use of A.I. software these images are merged together to create a genuine 3D representation of the subject. In addition to the 3D model, Photogrammetry also creates a 3D Point Cloud representation. This 'cloud' contains thousands of 3D points that can be used for modeling, measuring, and transforming the original subject.
